WMD-Shatterblaze

So the world is set before,
The situations and the structures now clearly understood,
I believe that I am at last ready,
To unleash all hell.

Because this place
Has gone beyond redemption
All the rot that we know so well
As we pass it on the streets of this sickening city
Slowing growing in height, in power.

And if you think that the stock exchange is in trouble this week,
The banks crumbling…
You’ve seen the most absolute of nothings yet. Oh indeed.

I shall start simply.
I begin with one street,
One building,
And in a single moment,
Reach and collapse it in mine hands
Then every microscopic fragment of concrete
Turn into fire.

I shatterblaze the bank,
Tear up the tarmac on the road
Scattering the cars before my storm,
Disintegrating, ripping apart,
Then burning with the Humean flames
Anything that might remain.

What satisfaction comes from such straightforward destruction!
What salve from knowing that I have been gifted the equivalent power of my fury, the righteous cause made real in the wreckage that barely remains.
I revel and dance
For this is the first day, the initial pages,
Of the chapter after the prologue,
So much more will be devastated...
